Torlesse White Port

A New blend to celebrate 30 years in Waipara. 18% alcohol Rich, sweet and complex.

Winemakers Comments:
A new blend specially crafted to celebrate 30 years of wine production in Waipara.
This wine has been matured in barrels for an average of 5 years, the base wine is a blend of late harvest Sauvignon Blanc and Gewurztraminer fortified with high strength alcohol. The wine has a sweet fruity character with a rich complex flavor. Much of the wines development has already occurred in the barrel so this wine is ready to drink but can be cellared for many more years. This wine can be served with savoury nibbles as an aperitif or the more traditional way to end any good meal, or entertainment. To be enjoyed in moderation. This wine can be stored after opening in a decanter for months with no adverse effects.
This wine has used the screw top closure to preserve fruit flavours or allow the wine to age gracefully and reach its full potential with no bottle variation.

** CHECKOUT by clicking the shopping cart icon at the top right of the screen **
