2023 Omihi Road Gewurztraminer
New Release June 2025<br><br>Vineyards<br>- The Rayner and McKenzie vineyards are located in Waipara close to the winery. The soils are heavier clay loams and the terrain is genetly undulating. The average age of vines varies from 20-25 years<br>- All are on rootstock and feature a range of Lathe Colmar clones originating from Alsace.<br>- Harvest brix ranged from 24-26 brix [% sugar]<br>- Both vineyards were machine harvested in late March<br>- Grapes were all crushed and pressed, the juice cold settled then racked to fermentation<br>- This wine is made in a medium style to keep the alcohol from getting to high<br>- Limited release of 76 cases<br><br>Bottle Details<br>- Alcohol 13.5% by volume<br>- Acid is 5.5 gm/L [as tartaric]<br>- Residual Sugar is 18 gm/L<br><br><br>** CHECKOUT by clicking the shopping cart icon at the top right of the screen **
