2009 Gewurztraminer

The grapes were harvested in excellent conditions from the Rayner and McKenzie  vineyards in Waipara, North Canterbury. Harvesting was a combination of hand pick and machine with grapes ranging in ripeness from 24 brix to 27 brix. This wine has scents of rose petal, lychees and toffee apple , the palate is full and rich with a noticeable sweetness. It will reward 3-5 years of cellaring, taking on richer and more complex flavours.

Limited release with only 280 cases selected from the excellent 2008 vintage and closed with the screw cap to ensure freshness, consistency and reliable bottle maturation. Alcohol :13.5%
